Another Character Possibly Set to Return to ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 9

Just like Bobby Martin who went to the attic for a pair of skis and never came back down in All My Children, we have yet to see the return of one character in The Walking Dead. While Heath had been around for a couple of seasons prior to his departure in season seven, he was never officially killed and therefore we have to ask, where did he go? Heath was last seen in “Swear”, the 6th episode of season seven, when he and Tara run into trouble while looking for the community Oceanside. The two are split up and

Blue ain’t your color… A Comic Book Retrospective

When creating a character for a comic book, one of the important things writers and artists decide on is color. What does this character look like? What color is he or she and why? Most comic book efficionados know for instance that when the Incredible Hulk first appeared in May of 1962, he was grey. It was only in the 2nd issue that he became the “Green Goliath” that fans know now. Of course he has went thru a rainbow of different colors since then but green has never gone out of style. During those early days it was the

How the ‘Agents of SHIELD’ cast kept Jeff Ward around

It is no secret by now that Jeff Shaw has been signed as a regular for season 6 to reprise his role as Jemma and Fitz’s Grandson Deke Shaw. But what wasn’t known was how close he came to being a one and done character…but not as Deke. The cast of the ABC show visited the L.A. Times’ video studio during Comic-Con last week, and Jeff Ward told the story of how he was originally reading for a different character altogether. “I was cast as Virgil. I was supposed to play Virgil, and I got to the table read,” said

Andrew Lincoln Reveals His Reason for Leaving ‘The Walking Dead’

Andrew Lincoln’s announced departure from the hit show The Walking Dead came as a shock to most fans. While there was always a chance that Rick may not make it to the end of the series and Carl may take up the mantle, that concept was quickly scraped the moment they killed off Chandler Riggs’s character. You had to have some member of the Grimes family leading the show for it to still be TWD, right? Season 9 will be Andrew Lincoln’s last season and although we don’t know how the storyline will be without Rick Grimes, we do have

Daredevil Season 3 to “Return to Form” According to Netflix VP

Despite the fact that The Punisher and Elektra received a lot of praise during their breakout in Daredevil season two, the second season of the Matt Murdock centered show was not received as positively as the first season. As much as I love this show, I have to agree with the critics. I loved the Frank Castle storyline, but besides that, Murdock’s arc wasn’t all that entertaining. And what they did with him and Foggy’s friendship at the end was a little unforgivable, but clearly a trend Marvel Netflix likes to partake in i.e. Jessica Jones season two. Although we

Finn Jones confirms Luke Cage will not appear in ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2

As intimated in previous articles, Marvel Comics fans of the Heroes for Hire: Iron Fist Danny Rand (Finn Jones) and “Power Man” Luke Cage (Mike Colter) will have to wait awhile to see the power duo together. Jones confirmed this during a roundtable at the Television Critics Association press when discussing the second season of Marvel’s Iron Fist. “Well, Mike isn’t in Season Two, unfortunately, I wish he was, I love working with Mike. I hope to see more Heroes for Hire in the future. I think it’s a great pairing, I think Heroes For Hire and Daughters of the

Are There More Marvel Netflix Spin-Offs on the Rise?

While Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist along with The Defenders were the original deal between Disney and Netflix, there’s a chance we could be getting more spin-off shows. Netflix’s Vice President Cindy Holland spoke at the TCA Summer Tour, expressing the openness for other Marvel shows. We can all attribute this essentially to Jon Bernthal’s performance as Frank Castle in Daredevil season two, launching the need for a separate Punisher series. Holland confirmed, “there’s always an ongoing discussion as to whether we will spin off additional characters.” While it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be getting a Ghost
