Review: You on Netflix (Spoilers)

“You” on Netflix has been generating some buzz, especially around the office; so I sat down this weekend to watch. All I knew about it was that it stars someone from Gossip Girl (which I’ve never watched) and that the actor (Penn Badgley) vehemently shuts those down attempting to romanticize his character. You see, Penn plays Joe on You, who would seem perfectly charming, knowledgable, and the ideal boyfriend if it weren’t for the fact that he was a complete stalker. Not just a stalker, but so chaotic, so delusional that he believes hacking into your phone, killing your best

Actor Spotlight: Jacob Pitts

You enjoyed Justified, didn’t you? It was a great show that premiered for six seasons on FX, featuring Timothy Olyphant as the main character Raylan Givens in a modern-day Western of sorts. But, you know who was truly a great character on that show that was not utilized enough? Jacob Pitts as Tim Gutterson. The former sniper who never missed was full of snark and sass and while he gave us gold every time he was on the screen, there was a serious lack of Tim throughout the seasons. Pitts has been acting for some time, ever since 1999 with

Actor Spotlight: Corey Stoll

There’s an actor who has a long list of movies and television shows under his belt, has been in some well-known and successful projects, but doesn’t seem to be a household name. Who is this actor I’m speaking of? Well, it’s Corey Stoll. Still don’t know who I’m talking about? He’s been in movies alongside the likes of Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp, Angelina Joelie, and Tina Fey. He recently portrayed villain Darren Cross in Ant-Man and Buzz Aldrin in 2018’s First Man, alongside Neil Armstrong. Stoll’s filmography dates back to 2004, but perhaps some of the best-known works

Is It Time to Bring Back Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: SVU?

Back when it was announced that Christopher Meloni was leaving Law & Order: SVU, many couldn’t believe that the long-standing crime-show could last. Among those skeptical was the person writing this article – me. Meloni had played Elliot Stabler for twelve seasons and although the series had a handful of great cast members, its bread and butter was Stabler and Benson. The hot-headed family man was, a lot of times; what was needed in many cases when dealing with the most despicable of perps on the show. His chemistry with Mariska Hargitay was unreal and although Stabler and Olivia Benson

Review: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The name alone is a tongue twister. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is an Amazon Prime exclusive that is the perfect show to get into when you are needing a break from the serious, grim, and violent. Simply put, this show is a treat. Fun. An absolute joy to watch. With two seasons under its belt, a third has been ordered, and personally, I cannot get enough of Midge Maisel. The beginning of the series begins with Midge. She’s a suburban housewife in a Jewish family in New York City in the 1950s who seemingly has it all. A loving, funny
