As news about the latest Terminator movie has leaked, it has been speculated by fans that one of the main characters is actually a cyborg. With that in mind, the recently released image of the Terminator 6 cast and new set images may have confirmed that as fact. The first official photo of the lead heroines in the Terminator reboot introduced Mackenzie Davis as Grace. She is a character described as soldier-assassin from the future. When viewing these photos, a number of fans looked at Grace’s symmetrically patterned scars and concluded this as possible evidence of the character’s true cyborg identity.
Further fueling this speculation is an unconfirmed report by The Terminator Fans (a website dedicated to all things Terminator) that claimed that eyewitnesses had spotted a blonde woman with a metallic skeleton underneath her skin on the set of Terminator 6.
Producer James Cameron has stated that the sixth film will disregard all entries in the franchise with the exception of the first two acclaimed (classic) films. This new Terminator centers on a new young heroine who is pursued by a Terminator in present-day Mexico City. The project is intended to be the first in a new trilogy of Terminator films.
The new Terminator reboot stars Mackenzie Davis, Diego Boneta, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reprising their respective roles from previous films and is directed by Tim Miller
The sixth Terminator film is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 22, 2019.
