Norman Osborn is an incredibly well-known character within the Marvel Universe and there’s a chance that he could be joining the MCU. Apparently, Marvel Studios has been looking to cast someone for a character named The Benefactor. This character will be a Caucasian male in between his forties and sixties according to a casting breakdown report from The GWW.  A report from Marvel scooper Roger Wardell has said David Morrisey is high on Marvel’s radar for several phase 4 appearances and if they are looking for Norman Osborn to have a presence then Morrisey might be their man. Morrisey does fit that age range they are looking for as he is currently 54 years old. There are reports that the actor will “shoot their scene” during the end of this year in Atlanta and people are thinking it could be Norman Osborn.

Reportedly, Osborn would be appearing in a cameo role or even in the post-credits scene for Spider-Man: Far From Home. This would mean the casting is already done and kept under wraps or we’re going to have a situation like Michonne’s character in The Walking Dead or Superman’s in Shazam!

The Benefactor has been a name used before, as Walton Goggins’ character Sonny Burch was under the employ of a black-market arms dealer of the same name in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Though, the description right now is too general for us to say for certain.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 2. Would you want to see Norma Osborn pop up?
