Could U.S. Agent Be Featured in Falcon & Winter Soldier Series?

The Falcon & The Winter Soldier is an upcoming series on Disney+, the Disney streaming service. We will see Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their roles that they’ve held within the Marvel Cinematic Universe for some time now. There isn’t a whole lot known about the plot, but we left off at an interesting spot after Avengers: Endgame. If you remember, Steve Rogers returned to the past to live out his life with Peggy Carter. He returned to the present as an old man and handed off the mantle of Captain America to Sam Wilson.

Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes will pair up in this upcoming series. According to the MCUExchange’s reporting, we may know a little bit of the plot planned for the show. The rumor is that both Sam and Bucky will work with a government-sanctioned Captain America. This may end up turning out to be the MCU’s version of John Walker who is also known as U.S. Agent. The comics have featured a version of the U.S. Agent who has crossed paths with Captain Sam Wilson. It will be interesting to see how the show handles a Captain America that Steve Rogers chose vs. a Cap that the government has chosen. Considering Sam, Bucky, and Steve’s trepidation with the Sokovia Accords in the past, we’re sure to see some butting of heads.

This should be noted as a rumor. We will have to wait for the series to come out to see what is in store for Sam and Bucky.
