The World’s Greatest Detective has been a busy man in his 80 years of crime fighting. From comics, animated series, video games, and movies, he has been there and done that. Throughout his appearances in the comic /graphic novel genre, perhaps nothing has been as important or influential during Batman’s 80 years than Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One and The Dark Knight Returns. Now, in honor of his 80th anniversary, Miller has now shared his thoughts on one of his favorite subjects.
Miller took to Twitter to express his feelings about the occasion, writing: “They tell me the old man turns 80 today, but every time I sit down to draw him, I feel like that little boy again.”

You can’t get a better tribute than that. Happy Birthday Dark Knight from all your fans and we at GVNation.
I am a 50 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove head first over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 15 year old boy with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.
