Game of Thrones’s Peter Dinklage to Star in Last Sons of America on Netflix

With Game of Thrones nearing its end, we wonder where will we next see these great actors? For Peter Dinklage, we don’t need to worry for the talented artist has just been picked up to star in Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Last Sons of America. Filmmaker Josh Mond has been brought in to write and direct this BOOM! Studios comic book by Philip Kennedy Johnson and Matthew Dow Smith.

Last Sons of America will be produced by Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan under their 6th & Idaho production banner, along with Dinklage and David Ginsberg from Estuary Films and Ross Riche and Stephen Christy under BOOM!. That’s a lot of people involved, but it would make sense with such a massive production about to hit Netflix. The streaming service may be getting rid of their Marvel programs, but they’re not shying away from comic book adaptations with this and Mark Miller’s Jupiter’s Legacy.

The plotline of Last Sons of America is that it takes place in the near-future in a post-apocalyptic world where having children is impossible due to biological warfare. Children have therefore become an asset/commodity for families and the story will follow brothers Jackie and Julian who are adoption agents in Colombia. Dinklage will play Julian and casting for the other roles is currently underway.

As we find out more, we will let you know!
