The Sinner Season One was one of the eeriest, most well-written seasons of a show I’ve ever seen and it did not disappoint in its second season either. Now the USA Network is preparing for a third season and is bringing in a “big gun” to play opposite Bill Pullman.

Matt Bomer currently plays Negativeman on DC Universe’s Doom Patrol, but he was in the longstanding show White Collar, which is probably where most people were introduced to this talented actor. While Pullman will be reprising his role from the first two seasons, Bomer will play Jamie who is a Dorchester resident and is an expecting father looking to Pullman’s character for support after an accident. The season will have Pullman’s Ambrose investigating a car crash, which uncovers a crime that will apparently, throw him into one of the most dangerous and disturbing cases he’s ever dealt with.

Jessica Biel, who stared in the first season and is the series executive producer; will continue exec producing alongside showrunner Derek Simonds, Charlie Gogolak, and Michelle Purple. There’s been no word as to when the third season will premiere, but considering how dark this show is, I can’t wait.
