New Cyberpunk 2077 Development Video Hints That the Wait Will be Long

CD Projekt Red, the now legendary studio behind the creation of The Wither franchise, have released a development video chronicling the early story of creating the much-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. The feature shows the pressure the creators are under and how nervous they were to unveil the game at last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Narrated by Doug Cockle, the familiar voice of Geralt of Rivia, the video shows no new gameplay or real tidbits of information not already known but it provides a fun peak behind the curtain of the dedication being put into the game.

The biggest information of note is that there are numerous ways in which CD Projekt Red is making it known that there is no release date or timetable currently available. They suggest we’ll be waiting awhile as “work on it is far from over” and that the game will come out “when it’s ready.” Whet your appetite with the E3 game demo that was referenced in the video diary below as the wait goes on for what will be one of the most talked about video games in history before it is even released.

Cyberpunk 2077 has no release date but will be available on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
