The highly anticipated reboot of Dune has officially begun filming, which should excite many as this Denis Villeneuve film has a large cast of A-listers to add to the allure of the film. While the David Lynch adaptation in 1984 was unsuccessful, Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel has become a classic in the science fiction genre.
Dune will include: “Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Stellan Skarsgård as Baron Harkonnen, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Zendaya as Chani, Javier Bardem as Stilgar and Charlotte Rampling as Gaius Helen Mohiam, and Chang Chen as Dr. Yueh.” (Source: Screen Rant)
