‘Iron Man 3’ Actor Ty Simpkins Would Be Open To Play Iron Lad

When the funeral scene for Tony Stark was shown, many people, including myself, didn’t initially recognize the young man standing toward the back of those gathered. As it turned out, it was Ty Simpkins who played the role of Harley Keener, Tony’s young friend who helped him out in Iron Man 3. With the end of the Infinity Saga and the Tony Stark story reaching its tragic but heroic conclusion, the MCU is moving on to their next stage in their plan to rule the cinematic world. Ty Simpkins would love to play a part. Apparently so do the fans.

When I last left you, I was basking in the glory of The MCU’s Phase One Collection of Films. They checked all of my boxes. Characters that looked like they were supposed to, superb casting choices, and riveting stories. They were batting almost .1000. The problem with perfection is there is only place to go, and that is down. That is not to say that they had any major failures, but they did for the first time get some negative feedback. ‘Antman and The Wasp’ Concept Art Featured the Beekeepers

Antman and the Wasp was a fun Marvel movie that almost made up for all the pain we felt in Avengers: Infinity War. That was, until the mid-credits scene. If you’ve watched the movie, you know what I’m talking about. While the movie featured a lot of great characters, concept art floated around early on in production for Advanced Idea Mechanics or AIM to appear.
