Two More MLB Playoff Spots Clinched Last Night

The MLB season is winding down, and with it, teams are beginning to clinch playoff berths. Two more teams did just that last night. First, the Milwaukee Brewers clinched their first playoff berth since 2011 by beating the St. Louis Cardinals, 2-1, and completing the sweep of their division rivals. Led by MVP candidate, Christian Yelich, the Brew Crew became just the 2nd National League team to clinch a playoff berth, joining the Atlanta Braves, as opposed to the American League where all the playoff spots are already filled.
