Venom Trailer Breakdown

As expected the new Venom trailer dropped today. I’m trying not to get carried away here but this is easily the best trailer they have dropped so far. Yesterday I said this film would either make or break the film in terms of people deciding if they’re actually going to watch it in October. And the early responses I’m see to the trailer have been positive for the most part. With each trailer the reception to the upcoming film continues to improve but that could just be me and the people I follow on Twitter. We’ll get our real answer

Report: Disney Considering Reinstatement for James Gunn

Yesterday the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy made a statement on Twitter regarding the firing of James Gunn last week. James was fired over a week ago after tweets the director made were brought to the publics attention. The tweets were from years ago but included comments referring to rape and pedophilia, this led Disney to act fast and let the director go. Many of the cast members, other actors, directors and journalists came out in defense of James. There was even a petition created to have James reinstated which has over 350,000 signatures. This week actress Selma Blair quit Twitter over the

First Reaction: Brand New ‘Venom’ Trailer

“The world has enough superheroes.” That is the tagline for the new Venom trailer, released only about an hour ago. What a great line to have that really sets the tone for what fans can expect when watching this movie. I just literally ran to watch the trailer and I have so many thoughts swirling in my mind right about now. Venom is a Sony production that is in association with Marvel; essentially maybe but not maybe existing within the MCU. We can perhaps pretend. Tom Hardy plays Eddie Brock, a journalist who becomes entangled with a secret lab experiment

Guardians on a United Front Regarding Gunn’s Firing

It’s often said that when actors and actresses work together for long amounts of time, that they become family to one another. There’s no better example of this than the letter of support of James Gunn that the cast of The Guardians of The Galaxy put out today. Signed by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillian, Michael Rooker, and James’ brother, Sean Gunn, the letter was posted by most of the cast’s social media pages with a message of support to Gunn. If you please, read the statement written and signed by

Gyllenhaal Spotted in London!

According to his Instagram, Jake Gyllenhaal is in London. Do you know what else is going on in London? Filming for Spiderman: Far From Home, a movie in which Gyllenhaal has been heavily rumored to be attached to. Now, this doesn’t confirm that Gyllenhaal will be joining the MCU to play the villain Mysterio, but it can be assumed this is a step in the right direction, especially considering he was pictured with well known makeup artist, Donald Mowat.   📸 @mowatdonald A post shared by Jake Gyllenhaal (@jakegyllenhaaldaily) on Jul 29, 2018 at 1:30pm PDT As I said, this

The Hypocrisy of Thanos

For those us who felt the need to re-familiarize yourself with the “Infinity Gauntlet” comic series in the hope to better understand “Infinity War,” you were probably left with more questions than answers. I know I was. The first thing you found out was that “Infinity Gauntlet” was only a continuation of a another series. Those clever folks at Marvel made sure you would have to obtain the Silver Surfer series to see how Thanos obtained the “soul stones,” which was how they were referred to in that story. Marvel had long since discovered what Steve Martin in The Jerk
