‘The Curse of La Llorona’ Terrifyingly Mediocre

I hope you bring your running shoes and something Holy when you go see, ‘The Curse of La Llorona’ or you might just end up cursed yourself. You might also use those shoes to simply leave in the first thirty minutes, as one couple did during the screening of the new instillation into The Conjuring Universe hitting theaters on April 19th, 2019. The movie, set in the 70’s, started off quick and got to the meat of the back story like most of the movies in this Universe, ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Annabelle’, their sequels, and ‘The Nun’ but then proceeded to

‘HELLBOY’ Is A Helluva Good Time

CainanCainan is a walking talking Superman fanboy since age 2! He has been a lover of movies since he could understand them which was probably around the age of 5. Geeking out to He-Man, G.I. He is also big into technology and video games. From the classic NES to the PS4, he has played them all. He runs the Geek Vibes Nation Twitter account and is also the

I would love to engage in intense debate about the things we all love, not yell at each other and call people idiots just because they don’t agree with your opinions. I also love sports, boxing

‘DUMBO’ Soars But It Does Not Quite Fly As High As The Original

“Disney’s Dumbo soars but it does not quite fly as high as the original” Let’s start with the Good. The main thing I was glad to see in this retelling was how adorable and loveable Dumbo is. Burton really captures what it is like to be an outcast and how you are mistreated, until people find out you have a type of purpose and Dumbo’s purpose is to fly. He captures the emotion really well from the elephants side showing how he get’s when everyone makes front up him, to when he gets split from his mother. Another good thing
