American Gods Season Two Could Have Featured Princess Leia

It’s rare that viewers ever know not only what is going on behind the scenes of their favorite show and it’s even rarer that they know why. American Gods’ showrunners Bryan Fuller and Michael Green were let go of their duties before the second season commenced, making many fearful that we may not get a second season to the STARZ series, based on Neil Gaiman’s novel. Never fear, American Gods not only is getting a second season, which premieres March 10, 2019, but a binge-worthy marathon where several actors will be live-tweeting. Still, one disgruntled Twitter user used the platform

CainanCainan is a walking talking Superman fanboy since age 2! He has been a lover of movies since he could understand them which was probably around the age of 5. Geeking out to He-Man, G.I. ‘American Gods’: A Saga of Technical Boy’s Unique Style

American Gods is a uniquely bizarre show. Not just in content, but visually as well. The STARZ’s series based off a novel by Neil Gaiman takes advantage of the world it lives in and doesn’t concern itself too much with remaining “realistic”. In a world of old gods and new, why would it? Partially the reason why we enjoy the show so much is due to the play on the senses and what is “normal” and not. One of the starkest images to the eye is often Bruce Langley’s Technical Boy and his interesting fashion choices. A far cry from

‘American Gods’ Season Two to Premiere Early 2019

I’m a big fan of the Starz series American Gods. I wanted to start this off saying that. Based on novelist’s Neil Gaiman’s book of the same name, the show centers around Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) as he’s thrown into a crazy, off-balanced world of gods and monsters. Though the first episode aired in 2017, we’ll have to wait until 2019 for the second season to come around. Luckily, though; it seems like we won’t have to wait too long into the new year to get new episodes, based on Whittle’s tweet. Ahhh love my #AmericanGods fam🙌🏾🎥 a cast that

A Prayer for Mad Sweeney: What if Sean Harris Hadn’t Left American Gods?

Recasts happen all the time. A lot of our favorite on-screen characters landed that position because someone else had stepped away. Whatever cinematic powers above willed for the original pick to be gone and to bring in who rightfully deserved that role. While it might not always be the case, we can, for the most part; all agree that Pablo Schreiber’s casting in STARZ American Gods as Mad Sweeney was a match made in heaven. Sweeney is a leprechaun who aids Mr. Wednesday, much to his chagrin; and is loosely based on the lore of Buile Shuibhne – an Irish

Season Recap: American Gods

There’s rarely a television concept that we haven’t seen before. How many shows out there are based around crime scene detectives or sitcoms about the all American family? Stemmed from a book, American Gods certainly offers a unique storyline. Bringing together new and old gods from mythology into modern day society makes for one strange, interesting world that at times works and at times, doesn’t work. American Gods has only had one season so far and that season consisted of eight episodes. The series opens up with Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) being released from prison a few days before his
