Actor Spotlight: Jacob Pitts

You enjoyed Justified, didn’t you? It was a great show that premiered for six seasons on FX, featuring Timothy Olyphant as the main character Raylan Givens in a modern-day Western of sorts. But, you know who was truly a great character on that show that was not utilized enough? Jacob Pitts as Tim Gutterson. The former sniper who never missed was full of snark and sass and while he gave us gold every time he was on the screen, there was a serious lack of Tim throughout the seasons. Pitts has been acting for some time, ever since 1999 with

Is It Time to Bring Back Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: SVU?

Back when it was announced that Christopher Meloni was leaving Law & Order: SVU, many couldn’t believe that the long-standing crime-show could last. Among those skeptical was the person writing this article – me. Meloni had played Elliot Stabler for twelve seasons and although the series had a handful of great cast members, its bread and butter was Stabler and Benson. The hot-headed family man was, a lot of times; what was needed in many cases when dealing with the most despicable of perps on the show. His chemistry with Mariska Hargitay was unreal and although Stabler and Olivia Benson

Law & Order: SVU’s Executive Producer Teases a Sonny Carisi Romance

Law & Order: SVU’s episode last night was emotionally packed, to say the least. Alta Kockers was the long-running show’s fall finale and now we’ll have to wait until January of 2019 for the show to pick back up. Season twenty has had some really good episode and some boring ones, but last night’s was intense and I definitely smell Emmy’s in the air, especially for guest stars Wallace Shawn and Judd Hirsch. Of course, we as viewers want to know what we can expect for the upcoming episode. One Twitter user decided to ask and executive producer Julie Martin

Law & Order: LA, Should It Have Been Canceled?

In 2010, Dick Wolf’s famous and lucrative franchise broke away from the tried and true New York format and moved Law & Order to Los Angeles. Only lasting one season, it became the second in the Law & Order series to be canceled after one season, the first being Trial by Jury; although LA got 22 episodes while Trial by Jury got only 13. Starring Skeet Ulrich as Detective Rex Winters for the first half of the season, Corey Stoll played Detective Tomas “TJ” Jaruszalski, Alfred Molina portrayed Deputy District Attorney Ricardo Morales (turned LAPD detective), as Terrence Howard played ADA

SVU Star Peter Scanavino Opens Up About Possible Carisi Romance

Law and Order: SVU opened up its 20th season with two explosive episodes. Now competing with the original Law and Order series for longest-running drama on the network, the show in the past five years has gone through some character changes. One of those has become a fan favorite – Dominick Carisi aka Sonny. Portrayed by Peter Scanavino, the actor was only meant to come on short-term while Danny Pino’s character Nick Amaro was demoted. After five episodes, Carisi was so well loved that he was promoted to series regular. Since season sixteen, we’ve seen little bits and pieces of

Making a Murderer took Netflix by storm. Movie Review: Zenith (2010)

Zenith by Anonymous is a 2010 independent film presented essentially as a secretive tape about solving conspiracy theories. With different components to the film, such as branched out storylines and video recordings, this is a movie that you could potentially write off as a “student-film”, but the concept is in fact, incredibly interesting. When I say student film, I don’t mean a student actually made it, rather the movie is more like a project than an actual Hollywood movie, which is in no way an insult, rather a compliment. In Zenith, humans have been genetically enhanced to always be happy.

NBC Orders New Law & Order Spin-Off: Hate Crimes

Some Law & Order shows are more successful than others. While Trial by Jury and Los Angeles only had one season, Criminal Intent had ten, the original Law & Order had 20, and the current show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is going strong into its twentieth season with no signs of stopping. Even the Chicago spinoffs from Dick Wolf, such as Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med are all doing well. So, it couldn’t be a more perfect time to introduce another spin-off show on NBC, which will be Law & Order: Hate Crimes. NBC has ordered
