Although Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga’s the Warrens have only been privy to The Conjuring franchise, it seems both actors will be reprising their roles for the upcoming third Annabelle movie. The frightening trilogy will feature Ed and Lorraine’s daughter, played by Mckenna Grace.
The Warrens will be in the film in a supporting role, but fans will be happy to see them since it had been stated previously that the two would only star in the “main films” and not the spinoffs. Gary Dauberman is leading the film, who has previously written the script for IT: Chapter 1 and 2, as well as The Nun. This is his directorial debut and if Annabelle 3 follows the feel of his previous scripted movies, I believe viewers are in for a treat!
Speaking at Comic Con’s ScareDiego event, Dauberman spoke:
“It really picks up with the Warrens bringing Annabelle to the place where it can really no longer wreak havoc, which is their artifact room. But, of course, it turns out she can also wreak havoc there.”
Annabelle 3 hits theaters on July 3, 2019.
